A home for the season, not a hotel room
Settle in, rather than just stay
A month or two away from home should feel like living somewhere, not camping out in a hotel room with a mini-fridge. Here you get a full kitchen to cook the way you would at home, your own washer and dryer so you don't need to pack for the whole trip, a gas fireplace, and a proper dining table — the kind of place you can actually settle into.
It's family-owned, not managed by a chain, and every stay is 28 nights or more — so you're never sharing a hallway with a rotating cast of weekend partygoers.
“We stayed for the month of February. We loved the location… the condo is uniquely tucked in among the boulders, feels private and the neighbors were friendly and kind… The kitchen was also well equipped, great for a long stay.”
Being upfront about the layout
Easy to get into — and honest about the stairs inside
Getting to the front door is genuinely easy here: free, level, on-site parking with no long flight of outdoor stairs to haul luggage up, which is a real difference from a lot of older Tahoe condos. The main bedroom, with its own en-suite bathroom, is on the entry level.
To be straightforward about the rest of the layout: this is a three-floor condo, and two further bedrooms plus a loft sit upstairs. It isn't single-level living throughout. If stairs inside the home are a concern, tell Kim before you book so you know exactly what you're arriving to — no surprises either way.
Everyday life, close by
Groceries, the lake, and family visits — not just resort amenities
The condo sits in a quiet, residential part of Kingsbury on the Nevada side, with Stateline's shops, casinos and restaurants a short drive down the hill, and more shops and restaurants across the state line in California. Kim is happy to point you toward the nearest grocery store and pharmacy once your dates are set.
The condo sleeps up to 8, so children or grandchildren can come to visit and stay under the same roof, rather than book a separate hotel room nearby.

Questions retirees and snowbirds ask
Is this condo easy to get into, or are there a lot of stairs?
Getting in is easy — level, on-site parking and no long flight of outdoor stairs to the front door, which is a real difference from many older Tahoe condos. Inside, it's a three-floor unit: the main bedroom with its en-suite bathroom is on the entry level, while two further bedrooms and a loft are upstairs. It's not single-level living throughout, so let Kim know if stairs inside the home are a concern before you book.
How close are groceries, a pharmacy and medical care?
The condo sits in Kingsbury on the Nevada side of the South Shore, a short drive from Stateline's shops, casinos and restaurants and the wider services on the California side of the state line. Contact Kim and she can point you to the nearest grocery store and pharmacy once your dates are booked.
Can family come to stay with us during our visit?
Yes. The condo sleeps up to 8 across 3 bedrooms plus a loft, so children or grandchildren can visit and stay under the same roof rather than book a separate hotel room nearby.
Can we bring our dog for a month-long stay?
Small dogs only, typically 20 lbs or less. This can vary, so talk to Kim about your dog or any special exception before you book.
