  • Extended family visits

Room for up to 8 across three floors, a real kitchen and laundry — a home base for a month, not a hotel room each.

The condo

Room for everyone, without anyone tripping over each other

This is a family-owned condo, not a managed rental, and every stay here is 28 nights or more. It sits at 7,400 feet on the South Shore, a 5-minute drive to Heavenly Ski Resort’s Stagecoach and Boulder Lodges, with a lake view from the upper deck. In summer the nearest Lake Tahoe beach is about ten minutes away.

Over 1,800 square feet across three floors gives you three bedrooms, three bathrooms and a large loft set up with a full bedroom and a double futon. Access is easy — no crazy stairs like you find at a lot of Tahoe condos.

Built for remote work

Work the week, play the weekend

Every stay here is 28 nights or more, so the rhythm becomes real: high-speed wifi and a quiet loft desk get the work week done, and the weekend is whatever the season allows — skiing in winter, hiking in spring, or the beach in summer. The kitchen is properly equipped for cooking real meals instead of eating out every night, and an in-unit washer and dryer mean you can pack light and stay long.

“The loft with a remote work space was key.”

— Alice, Huntington, New York, on a month-long stay

It's a quiet, residential corner of the South Shore, tucked among the boulders and away from the casino strip — guests staying for a season tend to value that as much as the mountain and lake views.

Good to know

Frequently asked questions

How many people does the condo sleep?

Up to 8 guests. There are 3 bedrooms plus a loft, with 7 beds in total (including a double futon in the loft), across three floors. Eight guests is the maximum permitted.

How far is the condo from Heavenly Ski Resort?

It's a 5-minute drive to Heavenly's Stagecoach and Boulder Lodges, on the Nevada side.

How far is the nearest Lake Tahoe beach?

About a ten-minute drive in summer.

What is the minimum stay?

28 nights. This condo is set up as a long-term base for remote work, retirement, and extended family visits, and doesn't take bookings shorter than that. Contact Kim to talk through dates.

Is this a good place for digital nomads?

Yes — that's who it's set up for. High-speed wifi, a dedicated loft workspace, a full kitchen, and in-unit laundry, all in a quiet part of South Lake Tahoe's South Shore away from the casino strip. The 28-night minimum means it works as a real base rather than a short trip.

Is there a discount for longer stays?

Often, yes. For stays well beyond the 28-night minimum, Kim can usually work out a better nightly rate. Message her through Airbnb to talk through your dates before you book.

Can a company book this for a rotating team?

No. The 8-guest maximum is one fixed group, named at booking and staying for the whole reservation — not a roster that changes week to week. It's a home for one household, not shared crew housing.

Is there parking at the condo?

Yes — free parking on the premises, and easy access to the condo with no long flights of outdoor stairs.

Does the condo have air conditioning?

No. At 7,400 feet the condo stays comfortable for most of the summer, but there is no air conditioning. There is heating throughout and a gas fireplace for winter stays.

Do I need a car?

Yes. The condo is at the top of a mountain. A shuttle bus serves the area, but the buses are infrequent, so you'll want a car. In winter you'll need a four-wheel-drive vehicle to get up the mountain.

How do I book the condo?

Availability, pricing and booking are handled through the Airbnb listing, where Kimberly has hosted for 15 years. You can also read how to book and message Kimberly through Airbnb.

Planning a trip to Tahoe?

Check your dates on the Airbnb listing, or send Kimberly a message and she'll come back to you — usually within a day.
